FRAXEL® DUAL
Take years off your appearance with noticeably younger skin. Improve the tone and radiance of aging and sun damaged skin.
Look YOunger Than Ever Before
Combined, sun and age take a serious toll on our skin. Brown spots and age spots develop, pores become more noticeable, and our complexion becomes less even. Should we simply accept defeat and consider smooth, glowing skin a thing of the past? Should we seek more drastic solutions like surgery to keep up with the Jones’? And how, pray tell, is it that some of our peers seem to look younger now than ever before?
The answer to fresher, younger-looking skin is Fraxel Dual.
Fraxel Dual is a non-ablative laser that improves the tone and radiance of aging and sun damaged skin. Treatments remove years from your appearance, diminishing spots, refining pores, and reducing hyper pigmentation. Fraxel is a painless, non-surgical solution with minimal downtime and most patients only need one treatment.

Fraxel Pre-Treatment Instructions
Before undergoing your Fraxel laser treatment, it’s important to follow specific pre-treatment instructions to ensure the best results and minimize complications. Expect downtime to be anywhere from 4-7 days, and use the suggested aftercare products to avoid infection and speed up your recovery time.
Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning beds for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment. Use a mineral sunscreen with at least SPF 30 if you must be outdoors.
- Stop Retinols and Topicals: you should stop using retinoids (like retinol or tretinoin) and other exfoliating agents at least 5-7 days before your treatment. If you forget to stop using them when you go in for treatment, please be sure to let your provider know before beginning.
- Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated. Use gentle, hydrating moisturizers leading up to the treatment.
- Avoid Blood Thinners: If you’re on any medications or supplements that can thin your blood (like aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil) stop taking them 48 hours before your treatment as this could cause bruising.
- No Waxing or Peels: Avoid waxing, chemical peels, or any other procedures that may irritate your skin for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Inform Your Provider: Notify your provider about any medications or topical treatments you’re using, as they may advise you to discontinue certain products.
- Plan for Recovery: Ensure you have time set aside for recovery, as your skin may be red and sensitive after the procedure.
We will use a topical numbing cream when you arrive, and let you numb for 45 minutes to 1 hour to ease the discomfort.
Aftercare instructions are below - please read through them and make sure you have the suggested post-procedure products.
We recommend adding on a CO2 Carboxy Lift Pro jelly mask at the end of your laser treatment. You may also purchase them to take home and apply them yourself - they ease the itching, burning, and dryness you may experience for the first few days.

Have Questions?
-
Is the free consultation with the doctor?Your initial complimentary consultation is scheduled with our highly trained aesthetic consultant, Candice. Candice will provide you with all of the information and pricing you need, and will schedule your treatment appointment. In most cases Dr. Ingber will join the consultation with Candice.
-
Do you take insurance? We do not perform any treatments, that would be deemed “medically necessary” by insurance companies. For that reason we do not have contracts with insurance companies, nor do we have the ICD-9 codes required for insurance billing. All procedures at DermaCure are considered elective.
-
I am calling around to find the least expensive place to receive laser hair removal. Can I call and find out what you charge? We price our laser hair removal based on the size of the area, and the amount of time that will be needed with the nurse. For that reason, you must be seen by our consultant, to determine treatment costs for the area to be treated.
