COLLAGEN P.I.N
Advanced medical-grade microneedling. Use your skin’s natural healing process to stimulate the production of growth factors, collagen, and elastin with virtually no pain or downtime.
Jumpstart Collagen Production
When we are young, our body produces a wealth of collagen proteins. Then, in our twenties, collagen production begins to decline.
Factors like sugar intake, smoking, and UV exposure also contribute to a decrease in collagen production. With less (and lower quality) collagen being produced as we mature, our skin begins to lose its elasticity, structure, and support . This leads to wrinkles, fine lines, and slower cell turnover. Unfortunately, collagen molecules are too large to absorb into the skin through topical application and when consumed, collagen proteins are broken down during digestion so applying or consuming collagen is not an effective method for replacing collagen in our skin.
Collagen P.I.N. (Percutaneous Collagen Induction) Technology
Jumpstarts the body's own collagen production to reverse signs of aging. Often referred to as microneedling, Collagen P.I.N. uses tiny needles to create “micro-injuries” to the epidermis. This triggers cellular regeneration and the production of new collagen and elastin for fresh, bright and radiant new skin. Collagen P.I.N. requires little to no downtime and patients can return to work or regular activities the same day. Mild redness subsides within 24 hours and a topical anesthetic is applied prior to the procedure to minimize any discomfort. Results can be seen almost immediately and can last up to 1 year with proper skincare!
THE PERFECT TREATMENT FOR:
Have Questions?
-
I am calling around to find the least expensive place to receive laser hair removal. Can I call and find out what you charge? We price our laser hair removal based on the size of the area, and the amount of time that will be needed with the nurse. For that reason, you must be seen by our consultant, to determine treatment costs for the area to be treated.
-
Do you take insurance? We do not perform any treatments, that would be deemed “medically necessary” by insurance companies. For that reason we do not have contracts with insurance companies, nor do we have the ICD-9 codes required for insurance billing. All procedures at DermaCure are considered elective.
-
Is Dermacure a Medspa? No. DermaCure is a medical office offering cosmetic treatments and lasers under the direct supervision of Dr. Craig Ingber, a board certified facial plastic surgeon. No spa services are offered by our staff, although the office does provide a soothing spa-like atmosphere.
